My name is Joycia Fireroze, and I am a 16th generation American. Five hundred years of every native and world flavor blended into my DNA woodpile, which makes Independence Day my ethnic holiday. To separate my story from America's seems impossible to me, for democracy a way of life for me, not an affect. Bottom-line, I am a humble and obscure American citizen, but I am a real American. (Are you?)
My job is, “Ringing bells, rocking boats, and raising awareness,” as spokesperson for the American Spirit.

This animation is a non-narrative piece about how I look into Taiwanese history as a citizen and witness, and how the history influences the aspect of social development. Our culture is made up of many parts such as immigration and colonization. However, the identity loses its unique physiognomy. We should treasure and respect all cultural components in our land in order to create a new Taiwanese appearance, so that we may find out our identity
