Elementary

The 3rd-5th graders at Alicia Sanchez Elementary in Lafayette, Colorado put together this short film illustrating their definition of a democracy as part of an after-school film class. With a great deal of enthusiasm and very little time, they managed to write, film and act in this entertaining short film. The after school program, called "Dragon Discovery", offers students many unique opportunities to enrich their education. The ever popular film classes in particular allow students to explore their creativity and empower them by offering new ways to express their ideas. They are happy advocates of the 1st amendment.
