My name is Joycia Fireroze, and I am a 16th generation American. Five hundred years of every native and world flavor blended into my DNA woodpile, which makes Independence Day my ethnic holiday. To separate my story from America's seems impossible to me, for democracy a way of life for me, not an affect. Bottom-line, I am a humble and obscure American citizen, but I am a real American.
