Let Us Rise is a new kind of group, a community that creates space for individuals, non-profits, congregations, local businesses, clubs, and other groups to work together to create a society rooted in love, personal responsibility, and democracy.
We are doing this by coordinating the People's Campaign, where every one of you, and every organization, can participate in creating a positive vision for Colorado and the country. We will coalesce the results of our visioning into an independent People's Platform. You'll have a chance to give feedback on the Platform, adopt it, and participate in a democratic process to create a collective action plan to implement our vision.

Awesome video! Let us Rise. Let us truly rise to the highest potential within each one of us. The potential for goodness and kindness and giving of our time, our smiles, our verbal appreciation for a job well done to everyone we meet. Every day we can throw some positive energy into our little communities, our little worlds and therefore into the "big blue marble' that is our home. Each of us, each and everyone of us has something to contribute. Something to give to our neighbors, our fellow human beings.
I, too, will not be defeated by hate. I will rise above it. Long live Lance Melting, my teacher friend who died this past year. He lived a life bursting to the seams with generosity of spirit and love and dedication to children. He was, no, he is my hero. For his sake, and in his honor I have returned to teaching children despite my many health challenges. Each day, each child I teach, I teach with him in mind.
